Step 3. Gain Assets

You will first gain an asset with the same name as your job - Sellsword, Courier, Lordling, or Magician. Then, proceed in order with the following steps, stopping once you have a total of three assets (Including the one from your job).

1. If you rolled an animal or person on the Traveling With... table, take a companion asset matching what you rolled.
2. If there was a weapon included in your starting gear, take a combat path asset that can make use of that weapon.
3. If you know at least one spell, gain a random ritual asset.
4. If you do not yet have three assets, gain a random path asset. Gain another if you still are not at three assets.
